The outbreak of the Wuhan coronavirus continues to spread outside China. Following the discussion of the school Board of Governors, we have decided to suspend all school activities for one day this Saturday (01/02/2020). We will monitor the situation closely and announce the date to resume school in due course. Further update will be posted on our webpage. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
As confirmed cases of Wuhan Novel Coronavirus continues to spread outside China, the Board of Governors of the School discussed and agreed to adopt the following precautionary measures in order to minimise the risk of transmission to pupils, their families and the staff of the Chinese School.
We advise that if you are a pupil, parent or staff member who have travelled from China, then within 14 days of your return to the UK you should refrain from attending the School.
If you develop respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, you should contact your GP or dial 111 for advice. Please do not attend the School.
There are currently no confirmed cases in the UK. We would like to reiterate Public Health England’s advice on the importance of exercising vigilance, practising good hand and respiratory hygiene so as to reduce the exposure and transmission of illness.
